Full program description

The Instructional Design Certified Educator (IDCE) program places significant emphasis on using integration frameworks to support the effective integration of technology in education. Integration frameworks provide educators with a research-based foundation to understand how digital tools can enhance teaching and learning experiences. The program explores several prominent integration frameworks, including SAMR, TPACK, TIM, and Bloom's Taxonomy. This program does not explicitly explain how to use any LMS interface but will teach you how to create an optimal student experience for students in higher education using research-based frameworks.

By exploring these integration frameworks in the IDCE program, educators understand how digital tools can effectively enhance teaching and learning. They can identify specific learning outcomes and select appropriate digital tools and strategies that align with the goals of their instructional design. These integration frameworks serve as a guide to maximize the potential of technology in education and create meaningful and impactful learning experiences for students. You will need access to a Learning Management System to create a course while in the program. Throughout each of the six courses, create from what you know and revise as you progress. Submit your progress at the end of each course in the 🟠 Certificate Course submission module.

This Advanced Instructional Design Certificate program is designed to prepare students for a career in instructional design by providing them with the essential knowledge and skills needed to create compelling learning experiences. This program emphasizes hands-on learning and practical application. Students can build a complete instructional design project throughout the program, showcasing their unique attributes and skills gained after each course. Upon completing the program, students will receive a certificate validating their instructional design proficiency.
