Age Restriction: 9 - 14 years old.

Embark on a delicious culinary adventure in our two-hour cooking class designed specifically for young chefs aged 9 to 14! Join us in our vibrant and welcoming kitchen as we dive into the exciting world of comfort food classics: chicken and waffles, mexican street corn, and strawberry shortcake. Under the guidance of our experienced chef instructors, budding cooks will learn essential kitchen skills while preparing these mouthwatering dishes from scratch. With laughter and learning at the heart of our class, it's the perfect opportunity for aspiring chefs to hone their culinary talents and create delicious memories to share with family and friends.

 

  • When: Wednesday, August 7 6pm - 8pm.
  • Location: Central Campus, George Potter (GP) Dining Commons. 
  • A parent or legal guardian is required to attend and assist children during class.
  • Be sure to wear appropriate attire for cooking and bring your own apron.

Menu to be made and served:

  • Entree: Chicken and waffles with a variety of dipping sauces.
  • Side: Mexican street corn on a stick.
  • Dessert: Strawberry shortcake with homemade whipped cream. 
  • Beverage options: Kid friendly mocktails, soda, and water.

 

How to register:

  1. Current JC Students and Employees: If you already have a Jackson College student ID and email account, click on "Enroll Now", choose “Already have an account? Sign in here”, choose "Student & Employee Login" and follow the prompts to checkout.
  2. Guest Login: If you don't have a Jackson College student ID and email account, please click on “Enroll Now”, fill in the information and click on “Register New Account”, and follow the prompts to checkout.
    1. When logging in after your account is created as a Guest, click "Guest Login" when prompted to sign in.

 

REFUND POLICY:

A full refund will be given to students/participants who officially drop the course by 5 pm at least 2 business days prior to the first class meeting, and a half refund thereafter. Business days do not include weekends or holidays. A student’s failure to attend does not constitute an official drop and no refunds will be granted.

 

*Please be aware that if the course is canceled, you will receive notification via email and a refund will be issued back to your bank account or credit card.
