Age Restriction: 14+

Dive into the exciting world of improvisational theatre where quick thinking, teamwork, and imaginative storytelling take center stage. Explore improvisation methods used at Chicago’s Second City to perform a scripted scene. Focus on improv and memorization skills to enhance character development, while boosting confidence and public speaking abilities. Join us for an unforgettable summer of laughter, learning, and limitless improvisational possibilities!

  • When: June 17 - June 20 & June 24 - June 27 6pm - 8pm.
  • Location: Central Campus, George Potter Center (GP) Michael Baughman Theatre

 

How to register:

 

  1. Current JC Students and Employees: If you already have a Jackson College student ID and email account, click on "Enroll Now", choose “Already have an account? Sign in here”, choose "Student & Employee Login" and follow the prompts to checkout.
  2. Guest Login: If you don't have a Jackson College student ID and email account, please click on “Enroll Now”, fill in the information and click on “Register New Account”, and follow the prompts to checkout.
    1. When logging in after your account is created as a Guest, click "Guest Login" when prompted to sign in.

Sara Anne Tomczak is an AEA actress currently in a recurring role on NBC's Chicago Fire and TruTV's The Carbonaro Effect. She can be seen in commercials including Zoom and Ford. In addition to acting for over 25 years, she has been the director, producer, and casting director for several plays, short films, improv/sketch comedy shows, and commercial photoshoots. She has performed, taught, and worked in Chicago, Los Angeles, Detroit, Pittsburgh, and Atlanta. Sara Anne is thrilled to bring theatrical magic to JC!

 

 

REFUND POLICY:

A full refund will be given to students/participants who officially drop the course by 5 pm at least 2 business days prior to the first class meeting, and a half refund thereafter. Business days do not include weekends or holidays. A student’s failure to attend does not constitute an official drop and no refunds will be granted.
